Why I Write
Nick Zealand writes children's books to help grow young readers into kind, thoughtful, and responsible people. His stories weave adventure with gentle lessons about courage, honesty, empathy, and doing what is right — even when it is hard. When he is not writing, he is exploring new tales and ideas or riding his bicycle.
The Heart of Every Story
Each book begins with two questions: what do children need to hear and will the story help them grow into responsible adults, valuing a high-trust society? Whether it is about standing up for a friend, telling the truth, or finding courage in unexpected places, the stories are built to start conversations between children and the adults who read with them.
